Most people who could use computational biology never get past the setup: the software, the pipelines, the first analysis that actually runs. Omi, the AI partner inside Omicsboard Lab, was built to remove that barrier. Today we are opening a pilot grant to bring it to whole institutions, not just individuals.
What the grant includes
- 10,000 Omi credits, shared as one pool across your organisation.
- Three months of access for the people you choose.
- One month of guided training for your staff, so the first weeks are spent learning and analyzing, not fighting setup.
Who can apply
Universities, research institutes, laboratories and government research or public-health agencies. The grant is awarded to the organisation, and anyone in it can apply on its behalf.
How the credits are released
Credits are released in three stages, 3,000, then 4,000, then 3,000. Each stage opens after a short activity review, a progress form and a check-in with our team. The point is not to police usage. It is to make sure the credits are reaching people who are getting real work done, and to learn what your teams need.
The pilot has room for three institutions, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Why a pilot
We want to work closely with the first few institutions, watch how their staff actually use Omi, and improve the product and the training with them. A small cohort lets us do that properly.
